Meet Alex
Alex Westrick has been telling visual stories for over a decade, garnering multiple awards and nominations for his narrative work. Among these was a nomination for Best New Director at the Nashville Film Festival in 2018. As Foxwind’s Creative Director he ensures that each story is presented with the clearest messaging and highest quality. Prior to Co-Founding Foxwind, Alex spent years in radio, working as a writer and on-air personality as well as a copywriter for clients of all disciplines such as Walmart, The UPS Store, and Art Van Furniture. His experience in film and in-depth understanding of marketing and advertising makes certain each finished product captures exactly what is desired and holds a cohesive message to engage all audiences in any media.
Meet Jeff
Jeffrey Lawrence is the co-founder and lead producer at Foxwind films. Seven years ago, Jeffrey’s passion for storytelling leaped from a page to the screen when he wrote and produced his first feature film. Since then, he has endeavored to bring the stories and circumstances of others to life in a wide range mediums. Using the logistical skills gained form his management experience he brings his detail-oriented focus, creativity, and adaptability to the table, making him exactly the person needed to see every project through. He believes firmly that communication is the foundation on which all projects are built.
Meet Nate
Nate Shumate is an associate producer and social media coordinator at Foxwind Films. He studied theatre with a concentration in Acting at Ball State University, where he was trained to apply his creative skills to establish a connection to an audience and utilize specific mechanics to aid any story. During his time there he participated in the Discovery New Theatre Festival, and received an Irene Ryan nomination. This quickly paved the way to film and television production when he co-wrote and starred in his first feature film, “Stage 5.” His expertise ensures that all content produced by Foxwind is ready to fully engage with its intended audience.
